Would be a backward step to remove such an important facility.

Please keep the shop open, there is nowhere else for the students to buy things.

This shop is absolutely necessary for students and staff in order to purchase essential victuals which cannot be brought anywhere else on the university campus. Closure would be a disaster!

Essentials is an important part of the provision of resources at Medway Campus, for students and staff alike.

We all need this shop on campus, especially students who sometimes have very little time between lectures to get something to eat or drink.

Medway who? We really are the 'poor relations' down here, our shop is vital, not only for the bits you don't have, but also general morale, a quick ice cream on your break in the summer is good for the soul! Please leave us some sanity!

This is outrageous decision just because there will be a supermarket nearby doesn't mean the essentials shop needs to disappear what aboiut student needs on campus!

I find it very hard to believe that it is intended to close the only shop on campus and which accepts the Kent One card.

The shop is essential for students during the academic year and for staff and researchers in the summer (particularly as all the cafe's close except Pilkington which is full of summer school students). I am really concerned that this will push more students away from Medway.

Not everyone wants to use Pilkington when it gets busy and Pembroke closes out of term time, staff often prefer to use the shop. This means walking off campus to the Co-Op.

Every campus needs a shop for both students and staff. This campus is not on the high street and Dockside is not always appropriate
