there is no suitable reason good enough for this. how could a campus have no shop for students to quickly grab writing materials,lab coats or a quick lunch. Essentials is a very important campus shop.more so, we have less student jobs and plans are still being afe to reduce it further by taking out essentials??that would be a shame This would only reduce the number of students that would be at the halls.

We have international students arriving for our halls of residence straight off of the plane. That there is (was) a shop onsite where they could buy food and get the bits needed to go online was extremely valuable. It will be a great shame to remove this valuable asset from campus.

The shop is useful and convienient for staff and students alike. This is a daft unilateral decision from a Union that appears to does little for the student body and would apparently like to do considerably less.

This shop is as it's name suggests essential for the campus. The campus is cut off enough from easily accessible shops so it seems crazy to close the one shop we can all access.

It would be nice to not have to travel half an hour to reach a shop to just buy something like salt or crisps, where I can just buy it on campus. The ONLY shop on campus.....

It is bad enough that we do do have a book shop at Medway unlike students studying at other campuses, now we are saying that our students do not deserve any shop at all? I think we should think about giving Medway students a discount on thier fees as they clearly do not get the same resources as other students.
