STOP THE CUTS
We have an outstanding Police and Fire Department and they need all the resources they have to maintain safety here in El Segundo. We can not afford to lose ANY of our Officers with the rising crime in our city. We MUST keep El Segundo Safe!

No more budget cuts. Our officers put their lives on the line everyday. This type of sacrifice deserves higher pay and should be valued by the community.

These officers took 'cuts' when the City needed them to do so, they should not be asked to do so, again. Especially, when the economy is better.

we've had so much crime here in town that, never happened before. with a police reduction, the crime will only increase. Please, please do not reduce Police force!!

I grew up in ES and have lived here for over 30 years. Raising my family here now. This town was once the best small, family and SAFE towns in all of LA county. However, now it is not. Sad to say, but if things don't change I will choose to move and raise my children somewhere safer. We need the police prescence that this town once had. Thank you.

I live in El Segundo because it has always been one of the safest places to live in the South Bay. Despite the high cost of housing, it has been worth it. Not only will El Segundo loose quality citizens, but values will decrease and we will see an influx of people moving into town that we don't want in town. Do not cut the pay or benefits of the ESPD. They have proven themselves to be a stellar department with the safety of its citizens a primary concern and focus. Over the years, I have had to call on them numerous times and they have always been extremely responsive and helpful. Their service in the community is unmateched with other local agencies. I pay taxes so that I may continue to live in a safe community and I want my tax dollars to go towards keeping El Segundo the safe community it has always been.

With the crime rates being so high, why propose cuts to our PD?? They are the ones who make El Segundo safe!! We love you ESPD!!

Public safety is NOT an areas where cuts should be made! We have wonderful officers (and firefighters and emts) who do an amazing job of keeping our town safe. Get rid of them and watch this town go down the tubes. Crime will go up and property values will go down.
