El Segundo's City Council is proposing more budget cuts to our city's police officers. With the high rate in crime we can not afford to let this happen! Check out this FBI Crime index for 2013: https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the...
El Segundo is as high in Property Crime as the City of Compton! They have 5 times the crime and 6 times our population. That means we have more property crime for every 10,000 people than they do.
How are we going to be the Mayberry of LA that we have all grown to know and love if our police officers are continuously laid off and their pay is cut? Come out to the next City Council meeting on July 7th and please sign this petition.
