The Wells community centre is the cornerstone of our community. Our daughter attended the preschool and frequently uses the park and regularly attends classes. It has also been invaluable to my mother-in-law who uses it weekly. Save the Centre!!!

This centre is the heart of the community. My daughter attended the preschool and my retired mother attends classes and courses weekly. It's loss would be a tragedy.

I have lived on the Wells Estate for 49 years and learnt to sing with the Downsmen Barbershop group at the Wells Centre. It is an invaluable resource for the Wells.

There will be folk using this centre who would otherwise be very lonely. Why would you want to penalise such folk!!

So much waste of money in other areas, please look into this first. So unfair to even consider closing The Wells when it is used so much by all age groups.

I am a resident of the wells and grew up here. The centre is a valuable part of our community and from much further afield. It would be disastrous if it closed. For many people it is a lifeline, young and old.

My nan lives over the back from this centre and it is a life line for her. It's a chance at 92 to.still.get out and talk to.people , get a hot. Meal and have her hair.cut.
Don't take this away from the community.

What right have the council to close a venue which has served the local community for many years. In the 70s the locals raised money to extend it, long before Council decided to rebuild it and run it themselves

This centre is well placed for what is otherwise an isolated community. I can't believe that it is being put at risk so soon after the ruling RA councillors increased their allowances.
