As Vice Chair of the Christ Church on the Wells Committee I am concerned that there is no other venue on the Wells estate for the Church or for other community groups to meet. Non drivers who live on the estate are isolated in the evenings and weekends as there is no bus service and this particularly affects the elderly. I understand that this is the reason the Day Centre was built.

A very important community centre for all ages. The council need to think very carefully about closing this needed facility. If they decide to close it, many elderly people will not have contact with other people and exercise classes and hot lunches.

Being an elderly person the Wells Centre is essential to attend activities to keep me mobile and the playground is essential for small children ,it is used by all the local community.

It is a vital outreach for the young and old. It must remain open to give those who use it the support and help they need. Closing it and expanding Longmead Centre is not an option. There is very limited parking as it is. With the Hollymoor development starting next year it will cause chaos.

This centre is a crucial lifeline to the local community including the elderly and young children.
There are no other facilities in the area. Closing the centre is clearly the wrong decision and a stab in the back to the local electorate.
