This is a lifeline to the local community and provides the local OAPs with a place to meet others. Remove this and you isolate the older members of the community, just as portrayed in the Age UK advert.

The Wells centre is so much more than just a 'social place'. It provides the elderly with somewhere to communicate with others. It provides an outstanding pre-school, a church which all are welcome and many activities to get kids off the streets. Such a part of my childhood and still my life now... SAVE THE WELLS CENTRE!!

The Wells Centre is literally and metaphorically at the centre of our community. From the OAP provision through to the pre-school and playground it serves us all and brings us together. We're a remote community, cut off from the rest of Epsom by our lovely Common. Lose the centre and you kill the community.

The Wells Centre is a lifeline for so many people who would otherwise spend a life of loneliness. It would be a crime to close such a vital facility

Not only does this upset/confuse and disrupt the elderly and their lives, it affects the pre school and local families to whom we trust. As are decent of the wells I would not be happy to see this close as a new housing development would not be welcomed ... We like and love the community feel and yet more houses in Epsom without more schools or doctors does not help... The traffic will be a nightmare in and out of the estate
