This expansion would a be terrible destruction to a beautiful neighborhood.

We have invested in BCS financially and culturally by choosing to buy these homes, care for these properties instead of renting, and truly caring about each other, like an old-fashioned neighborhood would. Please, do not turn around and destroy our community.

No one should lose their home did to eminent domain no matter what. Cities and states should not have that type of power. I don't care if you do want to pay for the home it's not right.

Have lived in Raintree since March 1978; have seen many changes in BCS area. Expanding and extending Emerald Pkwy will have a significant, negative impact on this beautiful and well-established neigborhood.

There are better ideas to expand our roadways than to tear apart a neighborhood.
We have lived in Raintree since 2000 and have seen many changes and promises made and not kept in regard to access through our subdivision.
i am against expanding/extending Emerald Parkway.

The alternatives suggested in our petition (Rock Prairie Rd/Bird Pond Rd extension or larger 2818 loop) would be the most viable alternative

This is a beautiful area that I've loved visiting when I visit my friends.

My wife and I are against this proposal. I'm sure there are recommendations for alternatives that have been voiced by other residents.

We raised our children in Emerald Forest and chose to stay here even upon retirement. It is a calm, peaceful, and safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors and for us, lifelong friends. An expansion/extension of Emerald Parkway would absolutely destroy our long established, beautiful, and tranquil neighborhood. Please permanently delete this option from the BCS MPO 2050 Thoroughfare Plan!!

We built our home here in Emerald Forest 33 years ago. Please do not divide/destroy our neighborhood NOW when you have other viable alternatives.

2818 south to connect to Wellborn Road and then south to Fitch Parkway and thence off to the east and Highway 30 seems like a much more sensible choice. All of those paths have ample roadway already dedicated to them in order to become a major, high capacity roadway. Together they will make for a sensible "south loop" around the city to tie with highway 30 and other similar roads that may develop.

I lived in Emerald Forest for 25 years. This is a lovely family friendly neighborhood. It seems
the planning and zoning board along with the City Council has a new policy of allowing beautiful neighborhoods to develop and then DESTROYING them. It is very concerning that none of our land investments are secure in this city. Remember how Emerald Forest is being treated the next time you go to VOTE. STOP These crazy people.
