We need an alternative to the proposed expansion of Emerald Parkway. The proposed plan will ruin our neighborhood. Responsible homeowners will not want to live here any longer.

The proposed expansion of Emerald Parkway would destroy this 30 year old established neighborhood. There are much less disruptive ways to provide east-west corridors for improved traffic flow and growth!

Dividing Emerald Forest is a bad idea. There are better alternatives such as Rock Prairie Rd/Bird Pond Rd.

Bird Pond alternate seems best, although Sebesta might be an alternative.

It is heartbreaking to learn that the beautiful neighborhood I've called home since 1988 may be eviscerated by a major arterial highway in the name of "progress" in the Brazos Valley.

This is yet another example of how little our elected officials really care about the quality of life for College Station citizens.

Not only is this a very bad proposal, but one that would be very expensive for all involved.

I heard through the grapevine that this is already a done deal! Has to do with large cargo trucks headed to the Port of Galveston and this being the best route? It's not about the community or our beautiful neighborhood, it is about the money! SAD!

If this goes thru it will destroy our neighborhood and property value. Majority of the average homeowner's wealth is tide in their home. If this is approved, it would rob us of what we all have worked so hard to earn!

I agree, there should be an alternative plan. Why should the people of Emerald Forest have to deal with anything that doesn't benefit the community? It's not right.
