St Albans is already more than overdeveloped and the infrastructure of roads, schools, medical facilities just cannot take any more

Following these new planning proposals, residents are now faced with the further prospect of inquietude, as the Council grapples with developers’ ignorance toward planning conditions and a noticeable lack of infrastructure. Many residents will struggle to see any benefits to further development when traffic calming, schools, shops, and other local amenities have fallen by the wayside and have not been followed through in previous applications. It is clear that by building for the sake of building, with no consideration for the adequacy of infrastructure, the council will make it much more difficult for residents to go about their daily lives. The amount of green field being lost is unacceptable. There’s far too many brown field sites that we could wholly regenerate but we’re not.

We must preserve our open spaces for all to benefit. This proposal will join St Albans with Hatfield, I feel both towns should preserve their own identities.

We need to save this piece of beautiful countryside, too much green belt being built on already.

Our green spaces are vital especially with the already overdevelopment of St. Albans which is already struggling with congested roads overstretched services and not enough school places. We are destroying the character of our city

This space must be protected from such development. It is important to limit the increasing erosion of the green belt.

too much building too quickly we need time & space to be able to absorb extra facility use and to see if it can be coped with

This is over development of a semi rural area. The road infrastructure is completely inadequate as it is. I am vehemently against any further development in this area.

Haven't gvment done enough damage? By allowing so much migration into this country & destruction, of our valuable beautiful greenery, nature & wildlife to make way for housing, to house all open doors borders has allowed. Turning shires , country-sides into built up towns, cities. That people don't want.

This site is a wonder of nature and a commemoration to those who died during the war for our today. Please DO NOT build here over development has already consumed Hatfields majority allow nature some respite. -A Hatfield resident living on "The Runway"

I value this open space and fear for the environment and infrastructure if it is lost.

the risks to environment and impact to local residence from proposed quarry need to be fully considered and discussed at all levels. housing development needs other supporting elements such as schools, community centers, businesses, public spaces etc, not to just overpopulate this area. as a family, we love this open green space for walks and cycling, it is essential for local residence, please save it.

Ellenbrook is such a fantastic place to walk, lots of lovely open space and wildlife. As a family we all love walking around it, my boys love all the different places to hide! We need to keep like this for the next generations.
