This is one of Hatfield's best green spaces and is open to all. It has some beautiful ancient woodland included in it and would be a great loss to the town.

We need this green space. There is nowhere else this side of Hatfield.

The Ellenbrook country park is a lovely space in which to walk, cycle and exercise dogs. Any development, whether housing or quarrying would not only mean the loss of this space in which I have seen red kites, herons, sparrows, bats and owls but would inevitably mean an increase in traffic in the area and a 'filling-in' of the area between St Albans and Hatfield

If this development goes ahead Hatfield and St Albans will be one huge conurbation and a green belt area, that people use, will be gone forever.

Please don’t let this happen. It’s a beautiful place to walk. Many people use it. Why ruin it with more housing that will end up being for students and an awful looking quarry

I live on the edge of Ellenbrook fields. it would be a shame to build more houses on this land and put strain on the already squeezed facilities in the area. In addition to construction traffic and bromide pollution threats.

More houses no investment in our services. Hertfordshire is a beautiful county like this park it will effect nature as well as people's enjoyment. Before long these 2 local councils will become one

We should be protecting open spaces and directing new development to regenerating brownfield sites of which there is an abundance.

This is overdevelopment and will not be supported by the local infrastructure. Traffic and street parking has increased significantly recently and this will get worse

Ellenbrook Park is a place I cycle to, it is easily accessible from the Alban Way. It is a very important 'green lung' for Hatfield and St Albans
