This aftercare program is especially valuable to our IEP children who cannot get the same level of care from high-turnover young staff at many outside aftercare childcare programs.

As a single parent, this program is absolutely vital to my ability to work and support my child. Please do not put me in the impossible position of having to quit a good job.

The extended care program has been invaluable to me as a working mother. Please don’t cancel this program as it will negatively impact families, mothers, and children.

Please consider saving this wonderful program. My son is in second grade and we rely on this program and the amazing staff. I want this program to be here for him for the rest of his time at Highland Terrance and for Orcas for years to come.

This is such a needed program for shoreline families. The school
Buildings should be used as much as possible for the community needs. The Edwin Pratt building should be open for community use 6:30-6:30 minimum. The taxpayers paid for it.

My family would not have been able to support being a dual working family with young kids without extended care. It was a lifesaver for us and our kids loved it.

As working parents and community college teachers, we rely on Shoreline Schools aftercare and would not be able to find affordable care elsewhere if they shut down.

The focus, care, attention, communication and intent these teachers put into our children's care cannot be replaced. They are not just care takers, they are our community and our family.
