We have too many off licences and empty buildings, no promotion of arts and museums, too much money wasted on stupid projects !!

This is a beautiful space and our city deserves it to be preserved. It doesn't make sense at all to me that it's evev up for discussion!

Saving Ebrington's bricks and mortar will pay huge dividends for Derry-Londonderry. It will confirm the city as a vibrant, forward looking example of cultural renewal that the rest of the country can follow.

The investment in this wonderful space won't have been wasted if we retain it and allow it to compliment the other fabulous spaces for art across the city. Do the sensible and right thing!! Peace Up......Always! :)

What a fantastic space to keep for art gallery and further cultural developments and opportunities.

This would really be be dreadful slight to the city if they close it down. A total lack of vision and lack of confidence in the people of Derry by the powers that be. How many tens of millions of public money have been pumped into the Titanic museum in Belfast?

Throwing away the opportunity to have a mainstream gallery in Ebrington would be a shame on our city. Small town mentality.

Show some vision and confidence rather than turning this space into offices!!

It makes no sense whatsoever to lose this fantastic space to offices. There are a number of empty buildings on the Ebrington site that could be used as offices instead and the city needs a significant exhibition space. It will be an outrage if we lose such a state of the art facility for no good reason.

We are in danger of retaining no lasting legacy from 2013 if we allow this wonderful gallery to become yet another set of offices that nobody needs! Of course it will cost! We can't expect everything to be free and live on handouts!

This space needs to remain as an art gallery

It would be completely insane to rip out all of that hugely expensive equipment when no tenant has even been identified. Keep it as a gallery and do up one of the many other empty buildings if they really need a digital hub on the site.

Derry must keep Ebrington as a top gallery space - particularly when the Tate are keen to continue the relationship and to lend their collection! Come on Derry city council and Ilex don't throw this important legacy opportunity away!

A digital hub can go in any number of places in the town.Even my 7 yr old daughter thinks its daft.
