Public safety inside these buildings, & cleanliness must be a priority, an empty building is an invite for crime.

Tourism plays a big part in east Lothian economy and suitable facilities are essential to maintaining this. Locals are entitled to clean accessible toilets as a basic human right

We regularly visit North Berwick and have always appreciated the excellent and much-needed public toilets.

Please keep EL toilets as they are. Don't be compared with Edinburgh clowncil who stupidly eventually closed down essential facilities in prominent places.

East Lothian has the best maintained public loos I've used. Obviously a source of pride, full of plants and no evidence of vandalism. I know budgets are under extreme pressure but closure could unduly affect the elderly and disabled as well as the local economy as visitors are less likely to stop if there are no facilities.

A regular visitor to East Lothian, would be caught short by the closure and without full time attendants these clean amenities would soon succumb to dirty vandalised eye sores and a hub for anti- social behaviour

I think they are such a great asset to East Lothian and should be retained.
