I'm now 38 but remember vividly my mum always meeting me by the tree!! It would be such a shame to lose it, and for a bus class room - REALLY?!!!

This tree is an important part of the history of Earley St Peter's School and has a special places in the hearts and memories of parents and pupils past and present. It is also a regcognised and loved visual part of the school for the local community. It is wrong that it is apparently going to be destroyed for the sake of some hoped for advertising revenue.

I remember this tree when I was at St. Peters and when my children were there too. Please save it for as long as it is able to live.

Let it live its life out and enjoyed by the children and parents that meet around it like mine did 20 years ago.

Having once taught at Earley St Peter's, I know there is a proud tradition of doing things the right way. Let's hope this is continued! A tree over a bus! EVERYTIME!
