This is a petition to save the existing trees within the grounds of Earley St Peter's School and to safeguard these for future generations of children, parents and staff.
One tree in particular, a small cherry tree near the bicycle sheds, has been targeted for removal. Although this tree is in poor health through decades of neglect it is likely to be at least 60 years old. It is planned to park the prospective bus/classroom on this area so sadly this tree in particular is now 'in the way'.
We would greatly value your support to save this tree and to promote the long term protection and continuing health of this and all trees within the school grounds.
Generations of children have loved and cherished this tree please help us to preserve it for future generations.
