Save our Community Schools (Eagleswell & Llanilltud Fawr)

I went there as a child when it first opened. I would hate to see such a fantastic school close. Bigger isn't always better, leave it open and allow the little ones to take their first steps to learning in a friendly and less intimidating place.

You can't close this school. I went there as a child. It was a fantastic school to attend, have great memories from there & so will future generations of children

Attended Eagleswell in the 70's/80's and it was a brilliant school then as it is now. I would also like to thank the Head Master and staff for allowing Llantwit Major U11's rugby team to use the school fields for rugby games.

Small is beautiful. I had a wonderful education at Eagleswell 35 years ago

Can't see the point in it... Why ruin something that works?

Why destroy 2 good schools? Surely renovation is the way forward.

i am a former student of eagleswell school i would hate to see it go because i have many good memories of the school.

My folks live above the top field and I would hate to see an asda or a new housing estate put in Eagleswell Juniors place. I attended the school from 1980-1984.

keep the schools as they are

please do not merge these two schools!

To remove a school for more dwellings makes little sense. Resulting in more travel for service users and a greater carbon footprint.

I went to this school and so did my twins till be moved with the RAF , would be a shame to lose such a good school . The school gave my kids the best start to education .

Eagleswell helped me a lot during school, wouldn't be at university without all the staff there. Best Primary School in Llantwit Major

good luck hope you keep your school, but when they have made their minds to close it you dont stand much of a chance.

Don't close the school it's the best school in llantwit major...
