I've been going to peninsula state park since I was a kid. I climbed the tower many times. I now take my family there every year. Would be a travesty not to be able to climb the tower

The tower is an iconic part of Fish Creek. Every Door County newcomer I've ever brought to the peninsula takes an honorary trip to the tower. It's almost magical for them! Please reconsider tearing it down.

Save this tower, how sad our yearly tradition, was ruined when we saw this summer it was closed. Save this structure so families can continue to pass on these memories to their kids. No better view to love and appreciate the beauty of Door County than this tower.

Remember enjoying the use of the Eagle Tower as far back as the 1950's. It has always been an integral part of the Peninsula State Park both as a historical monument as well as an access to one of the most beautiful views in Wisconsin. The tower must be preserved or at least replaced with safety as the highest priority.
