My wife have been going to Door County for years and climbing the tower is one of our must-do's everytime. We have been keeping a tally near the top f how many times we've been there. They closed it just 2 months before our honeymoon so we didn't get to put our wedding tally up there yet!

My family and I have been going to the park every year for years. It is a tradition to climb the tower each year. It is a landmark for us.
Please save the tower for future visitors so they, too, can enjoy this grand view of Door County.

Eagle Tower is one of many landscape elements (perhaps the most well-known) giving unique identity to Peninsula State Park and Door County. Too many of these historically rich CCC elements have been lost in the park already. If we let Eagle Tower go now, it will never be rebuilt. We owe it to ourselves and future generations to do all we can to preserve these unique pieces of our culture.
