I was scared of heights, but my fiancé made me climb it on our first trip to Door County. It was the same trip where I proposed to her next to the Ephraim lighthouse!

Too much history not to save! We have pictures of my grandparents and dad as a young boy alongside the original tower in their 1924 touring car. The tower is integral to the park and must be repaired!

We have been coming to Door County 2 or 3 times a year for the past 25 years, and each time we make it a point to climb the tower to take in the awesome views. I can't imagine the park losing this wonderful feature.

There must be some way to reinforce the original structure. We need to save the tower for historical and tourism reasons.
