All Irish Ambulance Services should be of the standard achieved by DFB.

My 5 week old daughter nearly died because our local hospital couldnt sustain her much longer and no ambulance was available to bring her to dublin hospital for over 1 1/2 hours. I dont want to go through that terror and no one else should either

Dublin has an excellent service. Why would you want to replace it with a HSE shambles?

keep our outstanding service, enough with the short term, narow sighted, quick fix cost saving measures. A move to take the ambulance function from DFB would be detremental and inefficient a decision that will probably be reversed in years to come at extortionate cost. Get a grip don't be playing 'top boy' trying to save money and seek to create the No 1 service hire new recruits let Dublin Fire Brigade continue to excel.

Leave xlnt DFB service alone. It works great. The HSE wreck everything they touch.
