DACS absolutely needs our crossing guard. Our children will not be able to cross the very busy street safely without him! PLEASE keep the crossing guard in place.

I agree we need to have a crossing guard At our public school there is always a lot of driver going thur that area and don't slow down. So not having one some one is going to get hurt.

This service is essential for this school. I agree some are not necessary throughout the municipality, but this is an extremely busy highway for children to cross.

Why? If it is to save the money for crossing guards, how much are they going to have to pay when some unfortunate child is hurt or worse. This makes no sense

I am very concerned for the children in Wallaceburg on Murray Street as well. I have reached out asking for lights or something to be put in place, and have been told there is no plan for anything. Not every child's parents can walk them to school or bus stops!! This is so very sad. So much for safety first!

As a mother of two school-aged children in Wallaceburg, I really hope this move is either reconsidered or further precautions are put in place. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
Bad move...
