$63000 over 7 communities is a small price to pay for the greater good of safety for the children in these places. It also provides jobs !

Crazy idea here, why don't they subsidize the wages of the crossing guards with money generated by the slots? Chatham, let's be honest here there is no such thing as Chatham-Kent, has taken how much money from there and what has Dresden seen of it? a new turning lane to get there faster?! Lambton County come down another country block and save us!!!! #nohopewithHope

Please retain the payment of crossing guards in ALL schools that need it in C-K. It is not worth the life of a child to cut the program.

This is a must. Example last fall at the stop lights in the main street a tractor hailing 3 wagons was coming up to the stop lights. I was stopped and waiting for the light to change, tractor was not stopping. Never seen a tractor and wagons jackknife before .IT is a big deal to have those crossing guards on hway 21 at the school. I AGREE .

Have you ever tried to cross at Murray st and Reaume Ave in Wallaceburg? I know three people who have been hit by cars there while crossing! Keep Al at the crosswalk for the kids safety!

This municipality wastes nor than 63,000 a year on stupid things such as running around the rural roads with the graders, and their blades up, or when there is a skiff of snow, grading the gravel roads and shoving the stones in the ditch or on lawns.

CK council is running the community's it lords over into the ground. History says we don't live in the middle ages I'd argue we still live in a Feudal society

As an elementary teacher today and a student growing up at D.A.C.S in my past- D.A.C.S needs that crossing guard! With high school drivers, tomato wagons, farm equipment, etc. it's too dangerous.

Highway 21 is far too busy to have children crossing it alone!! Crossing guards are needed!!

The crossing guard at DACS is a must. It is a very busy street and there are so many kids that have to cross the street just to get to school every day.

The crossing guard is the only thing keeping our kids safe. Busy street, fast speed & too many little ones - we watch for the guard to give us directions.

This is the stupidest thing ever I have ever heard! Kids lives are at risk.

I think the municipality can save $$ elsewhere this is the health and safety of children getting to and from school-start saving in expensive trips to China or something-
