Tramway is known worldwide and should not be lost to future generations.
In fact it should be fully supported AND extended if at all feasible

The Douglas Horse Tramway is of world wide significance, and famous even here in America. It's unbelievable that the local custodians of this heritage treasure do not value it, and propose to destroy it for their short term convenience. An act of civic vandalism.

Please don't lose the horse tramway as it currently exists. It is one of the wonderful unique things that make the Isle of Man such a special place and is internationally important.

It is vital that such a unique institution as the Douglas House Tramway is preserved complete and that the system is not truncated.

If the horse tramway goes even to a small extent it will be a great loss to tourism and many children (and adults) will deprived of a thrilling experience that has been available for manny, many generations. My mother used to talk of it when my parents had their honeymoon ion in Douglas pre World
War II. PLEASE keep it running for future generations.

The horse tramway is unique, and contributes to the economy of the IoM far in excess of its running and maintenance costs. I ravelled to the IoM to ride on the horse tramway, but sadly it was not running.
