This is part of our heritage and is a big part of tourism. It must be kept.

This tramway must be saved for the future of IOM.

This important piece of Manx history should remain EXACTLY as it is. For some things cost should not be a consideration and, in my view, this is one of those things

just listen to the majority, for goodness sake...The horse trams NEED to by saved AND continue in the present place. DO NOT MESS WITH SOMETHING THAT HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME..2WORLD WARS,DEPRESSION,POOR ECONOMY ETC what a magnificent place the island would've been if all the railways were kept intact.Who has the crystal ball to see what will happen in 20 years???When its gone,it will be gone ..FOREVER... PLEASE DONT MESS WITH THIS FANTASTIC HERITAGE RAILWAY...

An invaluable asset to the Isle of Man and when it's gone it's gone. Don't do it.

The Manx horse tramway is the only surviving horse tramway in the world and must be retained in its entirety. Any reduction or Loss would be unforgivable. It must be retained for future generations to experience and enjoy

You have a unique attraction that many visitors see as they arrive off the ferry or cruise liner. Many locations would love such an attraction and would improve it.

Stop killing things that make the IOM unique. Preserve our heritage instead of destroying it. Too many things on this Island are a worthless drain on resources, this is not one of them.

Any proposal to end the tramways is a disastrous wrecking of history and a shameful disregard of worldwide fondness for uniqueness of tradition as enjoyed by any visitor to the IOM

Vandalism of heritage we should be proud of

I first rode on the trams before I was one year old, my Mum and Dad carried me, one of my Uncles worked in the stables back then and till he died. The Manx Government cannot be so short sighted and stupid to cut the tramway. Every time over the years when they cut back the steam route on the southern line, passenger numbers plummeted and when they cut the MER Laxey to Ramsey section that too was a disaster. Don't these people ever learn? Please God they see sense and leave the trams running the full length of the Promenades.

I was brought up in the island and it would be travesty if the tram disappeared!
