This is part of the Manx history and should be preserved.

The horse tram is a vital part of what makes Douglas different. It needs to run the length of the promenade and not be isolated from the ferry terminal

It's the only remaining Horse Tramway in the UK... This is British Heritage at its best... Needs to be saved....

The Horse Tramway is a superb attraction for the Island and its visitors; removing it is simply unthinkable and hugely detrimental to tourism at a time when the Island should be putting all its efforts into building up this valuable income stream.

I think wholeheartedly the horse trams should stay the full length of the promenade in Douglas, even better to be extended round the key to the Steam Train Station!!!

It beggars belief that anyone can possibly think that halving the length of this tramway can be beneficial. It will surely lead to lower passenger numbers and higher losses, and then what? I am sure it can be foreseen all too clearly. When I arrive at Derby Castle on the MER I usually want to get to Douglas town centre - up to now I have always used the horse tram, but it seems in future that will not be an option, so the bus it will have to be instead. Utter madness and incompetence from those who are supposedly in charge of the island and its facilities.

A granit paved cultural quarter is a waste of money and a naff idea. Let the trams run its full length.

The horse trams are a great tourist attraction (not the weather), not to mention a unique piece of Manx heritage. It must be retained in its original state for future generations. Elected memers must stick to their pre-election promises.

Sea Terminal is the optimum town terminal for the line

Typical desecration of Manx heritage by powers that be. Remember them when next election comes round. I won't visit again if the trams are scrapped. Hope car 28 will be ok.
