I have family on the island and am a regular visitor. One of the attractions of the Isle of Man is its unique transport heritage, which should be enhanced and celebrated, not diminished and destroyed. These plans show a paucity of imagination and vision and a reckless disregard for the islands heritage. Please reconsider how you can celebrate and develop this asset instead.

I have used this wonderful service when visiting IOM. My first and only visit back in 2015. As a keen transport enthusiast which was the purpose for my visit. I'm sure if this service was withdrawn it would affect tourism. It certainly would with me. Please keep as this is part of IOM heritage.

What is wrong with you people? The horse trams are a part of the Islands unique transpoirt history and need to be sustained. Shame on you even thinking of destroying that history.

I am a regular visitor to the Isle of Man, and one of my main reasons for choosing it as a holiday / long weekend destination is the horse tram - partly because of the link with the MER. I feel that the MER would also be under serious threat in the future without the horse trams.
Given that the IOM is extremely expensive, I would cease going there. There are plenty of steam railways and glorious countryside in England and Wales.

If it weren't for the full length of horse tramway I would not have spent a week in the Isle of Man last year. So much will be lost from tourism if it is truncated or closed

This is very sad this is even being discussed. If this does go ahead it will be something which will never be replaced but always being regretted. The fianaces must be made available to keep this unique inportant Manx at reaction is maintained. I have visited your fantastic island since 1981 at least once a year but often more. It is always fantastic to see and ride on the horse tram on the prom., not even to go anywhere other than to the terminus and back.
Please Please keep your Tramway in its current status.

Absolutely disgusted with the proposals. Love the Horse Trams & despise the plans to get rid of them. As for the moaning motorists, who are the ones who cause the hold ups on the prom - remove them from the Prom instead! Yes, I DO live here & I'm a motorist.

Riding the trams and visiting the lovely old stables last summer was a highlight of our visit to the island. I don't think the government truly realise what they have here. Don't let them make the island the same as everywhere else.
