I am a member of a transport enthusiasts organisation who annually for many years now have brought large groups of enthusiasts to the IoM.
The general consensus of opinion is that we will cease bringing groups to the IoM if these proposals are carried through. I do not think that the sea and air carriers and hotel and retaurant operators will appreciate the total loss of income.

The Horse drawn tram on Douglas Bay is an iconic part of the Isle of Man and should be preserved for all future visitors

Keep the tracks full length of promenade. Can't believe that this debacle is still going, surely it was obvious after everything that went on last year that people still want the trams to continue full length.

We will stop visiting the island if the line is truncated. The horse trams are the favourite attraction on the island for our 2 boys so we would not spend all that money to come for them to end up disappointed.

To shorten the tracks would be an act of cultural vandalism. The position of the fencing for the Internment Camp should also be preserved as an integral part of our history.

Keep the horse trams along the full length of the Prom. They are still a link to the boats, the journey should be the FULL Prom and I believe maintaining the status quo is the wish of the silent majority. Don't mess with it - it won't be for the better!

I strongly support retention of full length of horse tramway and retention of stables if feasable. Also the repair and restoration of Strathallan car shed.

Last year, we used the horse trams many more times than the bus. Apart from that, they are without question an iconic tourist attraction.
Lastly, as a fervent supporter of Scottish Independence, I frequently quote the ability of the Isle of Man to act in a responsible, democratic, way. Don't wreck my argument.

Don't destroy the heritage of the island. It's what brings some many people there every year.
