This U-turn is unacceptable and the monies saved compared to other 'crackpot' expenditure is peanuts !!! By not running horse trams the full length of the Prom will be a huge Tourist mistake. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS TO OUR PROMENADE -

charge more for the ride but more importantly, make sure fares collected do not up in the conductors pockets. this fiddle has been going on for years but Douglas Corp refused to do anything about it.

An absolute disgrace, this is a priceless asset for the Isle of Man, a great tourist attraction. The unique Horse Tramway should be a World Heritage Site, not be put at serious risk of being lost for future generations. I have visited it 14 times now.

The horse tram is one of the reasons I visit the IOM. One less reason to visit if it goes.

The trams should be retained and if anything extended around the quayside to link with the steam train.

One of the reasons why we continue to visit the Isle of Man is the wonderful heritage of Railways, especially Horse drawn tramway. Dont allow this to be destroyed.

The Horse Tramway is a historic landmark and treasure that needs to be maintained and preserved in it's current form.

Please don't allow changes to my heritage & history. I was born on the island & the trams were part of my growing up. When I bring friends & family back to the island, the trams are one of the first things we do & they all love them. They are a unique visitor attraction & the track should remain as it is now. Please turn down the new proposal

This wonderful example of Manx heritage must be preserved. It is unique.

Have visited the island more than once just to ride the tramway. Has the island no interest in inbound tourism?

Keep the horse tramway open. A crying shame if it was closed.

Preservation on this unique feature and historic asset to Douglas and the I O M, would be far more cost effective than that as proposed .. Once lost this will never be resurected.

Do not let yet another piece of Manx history be destroyed. A SHORT RUN WILL BE A WASTE OF TIME AND WILL NOT WORK.

If you shorten or shut the horse drawn trams then you might as well closed Douglas and the Isle of Man altogether
