This place is great and would be so sad to see them go. Don’t understand how an owner who is supposed to be supporting minority small businesses would evict one without reason and with so little compassion.

Maybe we need to see what's going on with management of el Mercado. Seems to me that when you sign a lease both parties need to respect that agreement unless something that is an endangerment to the Mercado or patrons. Does a business inside the Mercado not like that Don Bigote is there? Questions need to be answered!

The staff is some of the most amazing people! The quality of the product is phenomenal. Easily one of the best churro places in town. I’ve personally worked with the owner on advertising their product to an audience. I would hate to see such a wonderful place be taken away. There is a strong environment, community, and dream that is being built here at don bigote. Best wishes to the friends and family of don bigote.

I love this addition the markado. I love getting a healthy drink next door but coming here for a sweet treat.

Please keep Don's business here! the purpose of the Portland Mercado was to create an affordable place for Latino businesses to begin and thrive. Support all of the businesses and don't raise the rent so drastically on Kaah Market, either! $700 more starting in December??!!
