This is bullshit. This site has done nothing wrong and you cannot prove lost sales.

WotC, you cease and desist. DnDtools promoted something YOU abandoned. Let them be!

Find a way to bring the site back. D&D Tools was functionally an index for thousands of bits of knowledge that couldn't possible be as efficiently distributed in the volumes of books that have been abandoned by WOTC. Do what you have to, but evolve to the digital age and let this site survive in some form, it's senseless to crush it to dust for no good reason but legal BS.

Shutting down the dndtools web site in no way helps to convince me to buy 5e books.

I've paid for numerous 3.0 and 3.5 titles and a fair # of the 4e titles (some more then once - ie MIC, Spell Compendium, ect). This was a very nice resource. This, as many others have mentioned, was a convenient way to search all of "my books".

dndtools.eu was a fantastic resource, and I really hope WotC will allow it to be restored.

This site brings more people to play D&D. Such people are likely to try 5e in the future, and any further editions published. Keep this site up.

Why doesn't WotC just hire these guys to make a site like this FOR them.

Why shut down a site than freely support your game?

If anything wotc should be paying for all the free advertising seeing that site from time to time when I was websurfing and browsing that site is what lead me to trying dnd in the first place.

This site offers a vast amount of information and not once that i could see does he claim any of it as his own. not only this but he sites the books and give credit to WotC. Since he gives you the book names you can look things up or maybe use it as a reference table because of the vast number of printed literature for this game. All in all let him keep sponsoring your product (it is free publicity) and helping the community that you worked so hard to gain.
