You're closing down a non-profit site, because they're doing what you should have been doing all along? WotC, I'm fine with you shutting this down... WHEN YOU START SUPPORTING THIRD EDITION YOURSELVES. Until then, admit that this site is what has kept me coming back to buy your books, where I can find them (because you're not printing most of them now).

There is no reason for this to be taken down, WotC have lost nothing and likely gained a great deal of player interest from having this resource available. A diehard fan doing what the owners themselves could not be bothered to ever do despite the constant need.

Dnd tool offered quick reference it was never a substitute for the actual books. In fact if anything it made me want to by the books more.

I use dndtools.eu for the purpose of buying most of my books. If I don't know what the have in them I am less likely to purchase them.

They aren't even posted content from the newer versions of D&D it shouldn't be a problem for WotC.

WotC should be ashamed of thier lack of forsight into thier poor marketing of the best DnD edition they have ever had. Put the site back up!!!!!

I understand why WotC did this, but I implore them to rescind their decision. this site was a magnificent tool that made finding obscure feats and spell much easier than looking through 20 volumes of material for the one description that I was trying to look up a single detail on.

There is a way to make everyone happy, a letter of cooperation would allow the website to function, just make sure that all supported information is removed, you are not supporting a product, and should be thrilled that folks care enough to step up and take over.
