I hope there are enough people who will take the time to thoroughly read about this and sign the petition. I agree we should help the needy but not at the cost of making Clinton less safe to live in.

Why would you get rid of the only place the people in park towers have to enjoy????

Well, it passed. So we are screwed. Schemers, Davis, Obren and Mussman on the city council voted yes. County supervisors Srp and Irwin. I hope you all remember that at the next election. Remember that you are second class citizens.

Not a good situation putting homeless and elderly together in the same area.

My major concern is for the safety of the residence at the park towers.

Essentially a free range prison, with access to "vulnerable" seniors.

Terrible to have a homeless drug house by senior living

As a taxpayer of Clinton, this homeless shelter makes NO economic sense! Our Council people need to Vote NO for this!

With the population shrinking in Clinton?…How is this going to help with economic growth? We are now retired, and our tax base is already higher in Clinton, than our kids who live in Cedar Rapids, Bettendorf & Denver. Clinton has been our home since birth, but with all the related expenses for utilities & taxes, that is why people are moving out of Clinton. If approved, this maybe just another reason for them to leave! Vote for what’s best for the taxpayers of Clinton = NO!
