Many children I know use the field for grass roots football

Surely there’s somewhere else they can build houses, it should be given to the community as a sports field and improve all the facilities there.

I lived there during my childhood and played on it regularly, keep it for the kids

This will impact the community that use the field for football and dog walking. There won’t be many fields left in Wrexham at this rate.

Stop selling off public land that out children use

To many houses already in the area for the doctors, dentists, schools not to say have we got the road structure to support them all. I don't think so

There are not enough playing fields for the young to play regulated sport on as it id

I grew up using this space. I played here, I exercised here and after my dad’s heart attack we rehabilitated him here. Green spaces are good for our physical and mental health and this space has been good for my family’s. It would likely be good for others too. Wellbeing is such a hot topic, please consider the effects of losing this space on Wrexham residents.

Councils should be supporting greenfields

More houses in town do not improve wrexham.... it is the current fields/ facilities that the community needs

I worked out on the local football league website that there has been approximately 90 home competitive matches played at Dean Road this season, each year is split into two teams - with the opposition, around 3600 Children have played competitive football there in the last year alone. Also they train in the spring, summer and autumn so probably another 150-175 Children train for 20 weeks of the year. That's over 7000 Children in one community exercising a year just playing football alone. Where will so many Children be able to play football in the area. The whole field or a very good proportion of the field needs to be permanently kept for sport. If the field is transferred to Glyndwr University there are no guarantees for the future - they will be able to do what they want. This must not happen!

We live in the terraced houses on Dean Rd and it’s a nightmare trying to get out onto the main road in the mornings with the traffic, houses built there would just add to the problem. Also it’s a field you can feel safe walking your dog, relatively enclosed and you easily keep your dog in sight. It would be such a shame to lose this field
