If the council wish to take these football fields away for more housing and more children where are they going to play sports, the future of Welsh football will suffer long term.

To lose this field to houses or just left fenced off is a real shame. I loved going there to watch my kids play football and feel sorry for the kids that play now that they’ve lost their pitch.

This valuable green space needs saving for the local community Glyndwr should give it back to the council.

Never felt the need to protest but if this green space is not saved where will future generations have to play.We all know how many houses are going to be built in the future so it will be needed even more.

To sell off the remaining green spaces in Wrexham town is tantamount to robbing our children of fresh air and safe playing spaces , why do that to appease the grandiose aspirations of the Glyndwr management team who have no real interest in the people of Wrexham other than drawing a hefty salary .

There is a shortage of open space of over 21 acres in the Acton Community. This field has been used by the public for many years and should be kept for public use.

We need areas like this to encourage children out away from their video games.

There is already a lack of suaitbale fields for youth football and other childrens activities. The welsh FA are heavily investing in Grass roots football to encourage children to get invovled in Exercise, and off computer games and off street corners. So Wrexham councils support that by taking away a field that used every Saturday and Sunday for youth football and build houses for my families with more children. with know where to play GREAT IDEA !!!

This field is a much needed area of land needed for sport, walking and many other recreational purposes including having some green areas that hasn't been or going to be built on. There are areas of Wrexham that can be used for housing that doesn't take away the essential fields and outdoor space that many people enjoy. Renovate the flats above the shops in the town, repurpose grey areas around that are left derelict and unloved. There are other options that need exploring rather than taking away the green that we need.

This is a well used field in the local community and should be kept to encourage children to participate in sports.
