If you are a member of Dartmoor & the surrounding districts or someone who cares about the future of our beautiful town then please sign this petition to show your support for the local Kindergarten. You may think this doesn't concern you because you don't have young children in your family, but if this closes it will ultimately effect everything. The school will eventually close, the footy club won't get new members, the shop won't get business & house prices will drop! We need to show the council that we are serious about keeping this facility open & in turn our town alive! We would really appreciate your support.

The Shire promised they would not close down the kindly after the mill shut down. They said they would support the community.

As an Early Childhood teacher and with close ties to the Green Triangle area I would hate to see the future of the children in this area jeopardized with this closure.

Keep our town alive ,up and running with the younger generation trying to encourage growth and stability with in families instead of negativity in closing established businesses and education departments . We had our fare share when our timber mill shut in 2008 .

Please keep the kindergarten open to enable my granddaughter to grow and learn with the children in her district. Keep the district alive.

If these facilities disappear so will the primary school and eventually demand for property will decrease and council will lose more revenue than simply any short term costs of keeping them going.

Children should have the opportunity to access play and education within their own rural communities where they can maintain a sense of belonging. Please keep the kindergarten operating.
