Remorse will surely set in if you, at the Parks Board, develop this truly magnificent area. Leave it as is for future generations to enjoy. From a former resident, and someone who truly loves Cultus Lake.

My sister lives there and it is an absolutely beautiful place. Would be an awful shame to destroy that beauty.

This tract of land, reserved for the preservation of animals, nature, and recreational should NEVER encompass urban sprawl, development or garish infrastructure. I have just purchased a property PRIOR to discovering the Parks Intention to "develop" a parcel of designated park land and I am outraged. Not only does this violate the foundation of the definition of Parkland but it also violates my purpose for moving into the area: A need to get away from urban sprawl, traffic, wireless bombardment and into a finite community in a natural setting away from development , short sighted greed and bad planning. This is a coveted LIMITED area that should be coveted. To even think of destroying forestation (aka PARKLAND) in favor of urban sprawl is in itself a conflict of interest: it does NOT serve the Spirit of the foundation and allotment of "Park" and in fact it is in direct opposition of its purpose. NOTE WELL: Our True Natural Habitat is becoming more and more targeted as humanity begins to reject congestion in search of peace, tranquility, and restoration. and having such a Treasure so close to major urban already uber developed areas is a refreshment needed NOT more development. I am deeply opposed to this "intention".

Some changes since I was a little girl spending summers at Cultus Lake Beach, some changes since I grew up and started walking and hiking around the lake. Anymore changes and it won't be the same place. I say NO!!!

The intent of Park designation is to protect the area from development. There are obviously some people involved that will benefit financially if development is allowed. Keep Cultus a park.

Progress is fine, destroying places like Cultus Lake... as it was as a park... is NOT progress

We all deserve access to the lake. Don't "give-away" or parks.

That whole idea doesn't make sense. Who's reasoning was it to destroy a park and wildlife habitat to pay for maintenance of sewer facilities, etc?

I've grown up at cultus lake and believe the development opportunities available are sufficient currently for what the lake can facilitate. If the lake isn't making enough financially already then they are being allocating funds irresponsibly because the park should pay for itself with the existing economic infrastructure. Are parks need to stay parks

The parkland should never be destroyed to allow for development.
