Crystal Lake was always my first stop to look at the fall leaves. Doesn't seem the same without the water there. Hope to see it brought back to life!

The USFS created a totally inaccurate report about this lake, to make their decision. Application of Bentonite clay on the inner dam wall would solve the "leak". Let's save it!

Crystal Lake is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. There is no other place like it in Ouray county. It’s a free and easily accessible place where people can walk and commune with nature enjoying the beautiful views and reflections. Please restore the dam!
