I used to live just a mile from this good school and am horrified that the billionaires are about to take it over with a charter. Public schools guarantee free universal education, but charters pick and choose their students, and not only leave behind the hard to teach, but have once again caused racially divided schools in the face of Brown v. Bd. of Ed. which is the law of the land.

This school has an excellent reputation for serving our special students and families. The contribution this school makes to our community is valuable and necessary for the future of these children. There are enough excellent public schools and private schools in south OC.

Crown Valley Elementary is a school where Special needs children find a welcoming and supportive home. The charter school will be successful in another location without disrupting the educational development of the children now enrolled at Crown Valley Elementary.
