Please do not close this school. Both my kids attended and it is the 1st school in Laguna Niguel. It is an historical site as well as a charming school.

My older children attended crown valley. Wonderful school! My daughter was exposed to sign language for 2 years at Crown Valley . Because of this early exposure , she is excelling in the language at her High school.

I believe Crown Valley school should not be closed because it would hurt the special education programs. The special education students would also suffer from change of programs and schools.

Stop displacing the children in the special education program to wherever they conveniently "fit" into the CUSD facilities. They need a permanent location where they can depend on, as well as people whom they can rely on.

Niles was struggling before he started at CVES. With the experience of teachers like Ms. Vaughan, Ms. Wulf and Mrs. Darmondy, they recognized Niles needed help. With their efforts, he was enrolled into an IEP. It has helped him to get on the right track to success! CVES is a great school with great people that really do care!!! Please save our jewel!

The wonderful way that CVES takes care of the DHH and special education students should be enough to make this a non-issue and keep Crown Valley Elementary operating indefinitely.
By the way, if you think a charter school "sounds good" . . . do some research into the negatives about them to balance what you think the positives are. I admit I never did until recently, and I was quite surprised.
