I believe in public schools--and public schools belong to the community they serve. It is clear that this community wants THIS school, not a charter replacement imposed upon them.

A strong public school system is necessary to perpetuate our democracy. Charter schools take away funds necessary to support public schools.

Listen to the public. Don't destroy their school. Your job is to serve the people in the community, not your own agenda or some party line.
