Save Crown Valley Elementary!

Crown Valley Elementary is a school that pushes INCLUSION by integrating typical kids with differently abled kids. This makes it a vital part of the community. My older son is a typical kid and goes to second grade here and we have been blessed with another son who is differently abled and I cannot wait to see him flourish at Crown Valley where ALL abilities are welcome! Save Crown Valley!

Our children need to stay in our neighborhood school and our neighborhood does not need all the added traffic that putting community roots on our campus!

Crown Valley is such an important part of our community. There are folks in the neighborhood who attended this school years ago and now are sending their children to the same school. A neighborhood school is invaluable to good education.

Crown Valley Elementary is such a special school. Here general education and special education students are completely integrated to the benefit of all students at the school site. The extent of integration of the special education population is not duplicated at any other school in the district. DO NOT break up our school and move our kids.

Today's parents feel empowered to have choices aside from their neighborhood schools. Charters are such a trendy option right now, but undermining our actual community roots at Crown Valley to bring in "Community Roots" is just absurd. This decision would have a negative impact on our students, staff, neighborhood, and Laguna Niguel. Supporting our local school builds a strong community!

Cuts in education are not acceptable at all, at anytime

My daughter has been in the special Ed program since she was 3. During the age of 3 and 5 - she was switched from one school to another 4 total schools, disrupting her learning by the inconsistency and learning of new routines. We finally arrived at CVE and have been here many years since. I've seen her thrive, I've seen her begin speaking. As a mom of a non verbal child it's scary. This school has helped her tremendously. We shouldn't have to continue to change schools. We are hurting our children. Let's keep CVE open and be fair to our children.

We so need the programs this school provides - keep CVE as a regular school.

I went to school 3000 miles away straight across the usa on the east coast. I was shocked at how busy CA was when I moved here. Then I found Laguna Niguel and CVE. I had the best growing up and now I was convinced I had found the same for my children. Both of my children have excelled through CVE and I could never thank the school and staff enough. It would sincerely be an injustice to our local community and city to remove such a wonderful school and staff for all our children. A colossal mistake! Please save our school.

This school has been immensely helpful to my grandchildren. It would be a huge mistake to close it!

All 3 of my children attended that school and it set a great foundation to their continuing education. It needs to be kept!

Please don't shut this school down for a charter school. It's very important for the special needs kids to have this place close to home. It's an amazing program for them.

Please don't close this school. It is one of the few that does well with special needs students.

Crown Valley is a big part of Laguna Niguel - I would hate to see it go!
