I was a kindergarten helper when we first moved here in 1974. Please, please save our Crown Valley Elementary! I want my grandson to attend CVE when he turns five.

Where are the current CV students going to be placed? Are they going to be given free tuition at the charter school?

Adelanto has enough traffic with the size of CVES as it is. This new school, almost doubling the enrollment will cause nothing but trouble, traffic and nightmares for the neighborhood. Please just say No!

It's an old school but it's such a big part of the neighborhood and it's history. There must be somewhere else for the charter to go.

I attended Crown Valley Elementary School from 1970 to 1976. It still feels like the anchor of the early Laguna Niguel community and I would hate to see it replaced.

Please leave our school alone. We take great pride in the little community we have.

I do not live in this neighborhood but in my experience neighborhoods ebb and flow as does the school population. It is very short sighted to remove this school! Also Charter Schools should not push a truly public school out of any community. Also the fact that they have a Special Ed component on this side of Laguna Niguel is helpful to many families that already have stress and difficulty finding an appropriate inclusive enviorment for their very deserving children.

Community Roots should build their own school and stop trying to take over neighborhood schools.

Crown Valley Elementary needs to remain a neighborhood school.

I understand there are families that like the Community Roots concept, and I understand. It is a better platform for their children. I also understand that families like their current platform at CVE as well as school being in their neighborhood. Fixing the Community Roots issue and causing a CVE issue does not resolve things as a whole. Community Roots needs its own location as to not disrupt the other elementary schools and to afford enough space for their growing platform.

I encourage the board to help the residents , students and the local community and keep CROWN VALLEY ELEMENTARY open . The State of California funded CVE nearly 50 years ago to support the community and assist in the growth of the community , if Community Roots Academy would like to expand they should do so at their sole costs , not at the costs of the state of Ca. or the residence that have students enrolled in Crown Valley Elementary.

This school was built for local children to attend almost 50 years ago. It should remain that way. Local children should not have to go out of their neighborhood area for elementary school, unless they choose to go to another school.
