I am appalled by this whole plan and feel for all those involved. Everyone living there is happy. Which begs the question: why would a Labour Council sell out in this way? Disgusted of Essex.

this is an example of great design let to fall into disrepair. Councils, developers and architects should be studying successful estates like these for how to do it - not demolishing them. How do you quantify the effect on the wellbeing of residents when you destroy their homes and community just to make /save money. Disgusted this is a Labour council - supposedly for the ordinary person

This architecture need sto be preserved not demolished. This strong community deserves to be held together when os may other aspects of our society is falling apart, destroying communities causes more than just displaced people, it can cause health problems too. This society cannot keep thinking in closed boxes, we need to consider the wider implications over the next 20 -50 years and not just the short term. Please keep this estate together as an example of what can be achieved, be proud of what you have Lambeth Council, maintian this, and reap the rewards of a secure place for your residents and consituents to live.

Lambeth Council is a disgrace. Social cleansing continues across London unchecked by those who are supposed to be protecting the interests of those living in London and the UK as a whole.
