Social cleansing is despicable. shameful tactics that revoke the liberty of the common man. Re-generating an area means helping those who inhabit it. Not generating something for new inhabitants. Shame on Lambeth. Shame on the government. Save Cressingham x

This is a disgrace. Cressingham Gdns is exactly the sort of low rise, house based, garden focused est labour Lambeth should be prompting. A mixture of leaseholders and tenants the vat majority who have opted for renovation, excellently designed houses.......why aren't the council developing brownfield sites instead of disrupting and destroying good working peoples lives? Disgrace...i and many others are considering leaving the labour party over this disgrace.

This is a lovely place to live and there is absolutely no justification for forcibly removing people from their homes.

Architecturally valuable housing with a well cared for landscape and communal areas is an asset that should be valued not destroyed.

Too many local councils feel that they have carte blanche to do as they wish. WE pay the Council Tax, WE pay councillors expenses etc, WE should have our say, be heard & our views respected. This is not only Cressingham Gardens' fight it is the fight of all communities being dictated to nationally.

It is costly on every level - financially, environmentally and socially - to demolish this beautiful and historic estate.

Labour Control Council kiicks out working class people so that wealthy developers can make loads of money building flats for posh people from other countries...the founders of the Labour Party are turning in their graves....and then we hear that Milliband has promised affordable housing for local people...well the two policies are a complete contradiction, so does Labour Councillors just ignore Labour Policy or is Milliband just make things up to get votes????? Please discuss with your local Labour Council and work colleagues.

The people of Cressingham gardens have always been wonderful, and the view from inside Brockwell will be completely destroyed by high rise flats.
