I wonder why The Barbican development is a listed area, and yet Cressinham gardens is being considered for demolition. Weren't they designed and built around the same time? They have many similarities, and both are important in the history of modern architecture, and yet Cressingham Gardens seems destined for demolition.

You only have to walk around the area of Cressingham Gardens and you feel the vibrancy and friendliness of the community.. The residents must stand up against this scheme with all their might, together they will win the battle and the war.

Lambeth has waged war against it's neglected schemes - starving them of investment and maintenance. It's time for people to stand up against their arrogant, negligent complacency and listen to their citizens. If they don't, kick them out at the next election

Cressingham gardens is a successful community , housing with outside spaces. It would be a travesty to break up something that works to move in more people living of capital and push out a longterm community.

Lambeth has made a lot of money over the years selling former schools and other sites. Selling people's homes just because they happen to be on land adjacent to a beautiful park is unacceptable. Cressingham Gardens is a community. The people who lead Lambeth should be ashamed of themselves.

In a borough with a huge housing shortage, it seems absurd to demolish popular, well loved, architecturally interesting homes. Please reconsider.

Please stop disrupting and disorganising peoples lives with your demolition and construction of new homes. It is simple knowledge that it will be cost efficient to refurbish the present premises as it is than demolish and then build new homes

Please spare this community the significant trauma of loosing their homes and the damage this will potentially do not only to the community as a whole - but also consider the psychological distress imposed on families, individuals and older people once their homes are deconstructed. We know that this can caused significant distress to people and impact very negatively on their overall well being.

Brixton needs to keep the 'ordinary' non-rich communities going. I love C Gardens whenever I walk in Brockwell. Please leave as is...

My Mother and Father, along with many of their closest friends have lived on this estate for almost 40 years.
Although I moved away from the area 21 years ago, I still have lots of good friends living on the estate and some of my earliest and happy memories are from being with friends and family whilst living on Hardel Walk, Cressingham Gardens Estate!
to loose this iconic estate would be a travesty and it should be granted a protective listing, to be set as an example of how future social housing projects can be designed and built, and still be able to protect the open green environment for which every architect and developer struggles to recreate.
