Stop please destroying the soul of communities in London in the name of renovation....nothing can justify selling the urban heritage and culture to private investors

I am not a resident of Cressingham Gardens but I support this petition 100%. This is a ongoing problem in the UK and especially London.

The current estate is environmentally sound and sustainable. The council should concentrate on the poorer areas.

Please don't do this terrible thing by destroying peoples lives by moving them out of their homes. It is really sad why is this nessasary anyway.

Cressingham Gardens should live up to its name, Gardens.
Lambeth should spend some money repairing the area and this 'investment' will pay back by having a happy united community, not another ghetto, created by the lack of investment.

Happy to sign this petition. Used to live down the road from Cressingham Gardens in a privately rented flat on Challice Way. Had to move out as couldn't afford to stay. The council shouldn't throw these properties away for poorly built shoeboxes which will be bought up by developers who are happy to charge over the odds rates them.
