Lambeth has housing and development needs but this is not what the community wants. Resources and time would be better spent elsewhere

i am behind your campaign, all the way. I applaud your bravery in taking on Lambeth Council's conniving skullduggery and inept inability to come up with a development masterplan for the area. Keep it up!

This estate should be an exemplar for future development and cherished by the council not demolished for short term profit.

A beautifully designed estate and if the pandemic and climate change developments show us anything it is that we need to preserve our green space both for the environment and for our mental well-being. No more concrete jungles! All living spaces should incorporate green spaces as Cressingham Gardens has done. It is how we should be aiming to build today not demolish it!

We need more housing like Cressingham Gardens, well designed, beautifully landscaped, and offering homes to a cross-section of Londoners. It would be a criminal shame to lose this estate.

This was a well thought out/designed space and allows people to be part of a traditional community. Modern blocks of flats do not allow residents to have this type of connection with their neighbours. It also respects the park and the local area by not being any taller than the houses surrounding it and the properties are look like houses not square soulless building blocks!

Terrible waste of housing stock. Negative impact on the neighbourhood and the park. Complete waste of council’s money.
