Let communities have and retain the spaces where they grow and nurture not only food for their stomachs but food for their soul... Save these allotments!

Existing residents growing their own food is more important than trying to accommodate more residents.

Let the allotments stay where they are and look for bettr places to build. I'm sure there's some redundant shopping/office space nearby that can be turned into flats.

If anything there is a Need for More allotment and green space not less. This is a real shame if this happens and this is lost for people

I would be heartbroken to loose my long awaited Craven Vale allotment. It is my main affordable activity as a single retired person and gives me hours of enjoy, pleasure and excercise. I do not have a garden and this is the only place I have to be outside and growing!

If it comes within the Whitehawk Neolithic Camp monument the council may not be able to change the use of the land from allotments. It's worth contacting Hilary Orange who led the Recent Dig Whitehawk Day; John Funnell at Brighton and Hove Archaeological Society or Andy Maxted at Brighton and Hove Museum, they may not be aware of the council's plans
