The Craven Vale site has been a valuable Oasis for those of us that have allotments on the site. The proposal to build on the site, rather than preserve and develop the allotment site is crass - especially from a 'Green' council.

the government are always promoting"grow your own, Get the children involved, especially in the cities so allotments should be banned from all housing planning ie put some kind of order on all allotments as with old buildings

Government and coucils want to save money and are looking to us being more neighborly to help the local community and then they thank us by ripping our greenspace and community.settings apart. LEAVE OUR ALLOTMENTS ALONE!
